Marco Battaglia has a diverse range of work experience. In 2014, they worked as an architect at 3TI Progetti until 2015. In the same year, they also took on the role of sales manager at Battaglia Marmi until 2016. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as an architect at spettrostudio. In 2017, they co-founded and became the CEO of Sfridoo | Economia Circolare, a role they hold currently.

Marco Battaglia attended Università degli Studi di Ferrara from 2007 to 2014, where they pursued a degree in Architettura. In addition to their formal education, Marco has obtained several certifications in various fields. Marco completed a course on Corporate ESG Fundamental for Business Leaders at Udemy in July 2022. In December 2019, they obtained a certification in The Circular Economy, also from Udemy. In March 2019, Marco completed a course on Circular economy – energy and resource efficiency in business parks, offered by Climate-KIC. Furthermore, they participated in a MOOC on Circular Economy - TU Delft through edX in 2019, although the specific month is unknown.
