Solana Adedokun is a detail-oriented gallery assistant at Sexauer Gallery, responsible for organizing artwork and facilitating gallery openings while also providing translation services between German and English. With prior experience as a building manager at UChicago Student Centers and editor-in-chief of The Chicago Maroon, where Solana became the first African person in that role and won an award for headline writing, notable achievements include creating the newspaper's first Black History Month Special Issue. Additional roles include dialogue dinner host at the Institute of Politics, series programmer for Doc Films, selection committee member for the International Children's Media Center’s film festival, director at Fire Escape Films, and content creator for JusticeText. Solana completed a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy and Visual Arts at the University of Chicago, following a high school diploma from Fort Worth Country Day.
