Charlene Slapak Lambros, RN, MS, has extensive experience in healthcare and nursing informatics. Currently serving as the KP HealthConnect Inpatient Application Coordinator at Kaiser Permanente Information Technology since April 2003, Charlene specializes in clinical documentation and leads patient care initiatives. Prior to this role, Charlene worked as a Nursing Systems Analyst at John Muir Medical Center, where the A4 Healthmatics ED application was implemented in the emergency department. Additionally, Charlene contributed as a Senior Business Consultant in convergent medical terminology at Kaiser Permanente IT from July 1998 to October 2001, and served as a staff nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Charlene received a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University.
