Jordan Burklund has over five years of experience in the robotics and software engineering field. In 2020, they began working as a Robotics Software Engineer - Perception at Sevensense Robotics. From 2018-2020, they worked at ANYbotics as a Robotics Software Engineer, Intern, and at Qualcomm as an Interim Engineering Intern. In 2016, they worked at IBM as an On-Call Software Engineer and at Qualcomm as a Software Engineering Intern, where they automated drone Key Performance Indicator testing with a motion capture system and Matlab, and developed adversarial WiFi tests to characterize wireless security across drone platforms. In 2015, they worked as a Curriculum Development Contractor at Intelitek. In 2014, they worked as a FTC Engineering Intern at FIRST, where they assisted with the development of an Android-based robot control system, developed a MIT App Inventor virtual machine for offline use, and automated end-to-end latency testing and benchmarking of new control system hardware. In 2012, they worked as a High School "Intern" at National Instruments, where they helped pilot the high school "intern" program and provided feedback on FIRST Tech Challenge training curriculum.
Jordan Burklund completed a Bachelor of Science in Robotics Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute between 2014 and 2018. Jordan then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Robotics, Systems, and Control from ETH Zürich between 2018 and 2020. Prior to this, they attended Valley High School.
