Amber McDowell is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in political and organizational settings. Currently serving as a Partner at Seven Letter since April 2013, McDowell held the same position at Blue Engine & JDA until November 2018. Prior roles include Communications Director for U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu from August 2011 to April 2013 and Speechwriter and Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Tom Udall from August 2009 to August 2011. McDowell also served as the Director of State Communications at the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids and as a Speechwriter and Press Secretary for the State of Tennessee under Governor Phil Bredesen.
