Marcus Dixon

Transformative Leadership In Disruptive Times Certificate Program Advisory Council at Seton Hall University

Marcus Dixon has extensive experience in law enforcement and community service, currently serving on the Advisory Council for the Transformative Leadership in Disruptive Times Certificate Program at Seton Hall since February 2022. Dixon has been a Police Officer in Montgomery County since April 2002 and also holds the position of Police Explorers Advisor. Previous roles include working with the Mental Health Association of Montgomery County focusing on youth and gang violence prevention from March 2000 to April 2002 and serving as a Gang Intervention Specialist for the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services from December 1997 to April 2000. Marcus Dixon earned a Bachelor of Arts in criminology/criminal justice from the University of Maryland, completing the degree between 1992 and 1996, and is a graduate of Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, class of 1992.
