Avery Wang is a distinguished expert in research and development with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees at the SETI Institute and as a Principal Research Scientist at Apple since February 2019, Avery has contributed significantly to the field. Previously, Avery founded Shazam and held the position of Chief Scientist from 2000 to 2018, and served as Chief Scientist at Integrated Media Measurement, Inc. from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, Avery was the Founder and Vice President of Hyperactive Audio Systems, Inc. from 1998 to 2000, and worked as a Member of Technical Staff at Chromatic Research from 1994 to 1998.
