Kimia Nassehi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Kimia is currently working at Serve Robotics as a Senior Product Manager since January 2023, where they previously held positions as a Product Manager II and a Product Manager since December 2021 and March 2021, respectively. Before joining Serve Robotics, they worked as a Product Manager at Uber from December 2020 to March 2021.
Prior to Uber, Kimia worked at Postmates Inc. from August 2018 to December 2020, initially as a Technical Project Manager and later as a Product Manager. At Postmates, they played a key role in driving the profitability and efficiency of the autonomous delivery robot fleet. Kimia was responsible for identifying efficiency problems, collecting requirements, and overseeing product development. Kimia also launched new products and features and tracked metrics to optimize performance. Kimia owned the product roadmap and prioritized feature development based on business metrics and stakeholder alignment.
Before Postmates, Kimia worked at Visier Inc. as a Development Enablement Engineer from September 2017 to November 2017, and as a Project Coordinator from July 2016 to September 2017. Kimia also gained experience as a System Validation Engineer at PMC-Sierra (now Microsemi) from April 2011 to August 2011, and as an Electronics Design Associate at BlackBerry in 2008. Their early work experience includes a role as a Quality Engineer at Tatara Systems from May 2008 to December 2008.
Kimia Nassehi started their education journey in 2004 at Simon Fraser University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Sciences, specializing in Electronics Engineering. After completing their first degree in 2010, they returned to Simon Fraser University to pursue another Bachelor's Degree, this time in Arts and Social Sciences with a focus on Psychology (Honors). Kimia completed this degree in 2014. Following this, they entered a Master's Degree program in Clinical Psychology at Simon Fraser University, starting in 2014. As of now, their Master's Degree is still ongoing. In 2018, Kimia attended General Assembly, where they earned a Certificate in Product Management.
