Michael Anderson has extensive work experience in various leadership roles, primarily in the government services and consulting industry. Michael has held positions such as Vice President for Logistics, Personnel and Readiness at Serco Inc., where they managed a large team and oversaw the delivery of transportation operational services. Michael also served as the Chief of Staff for the CEO, where they were responsible for strategic planning and establishing productive working relationships with senior executives. Prior to their time at Serco Inc., Anderson worked at WBB Consulting, where they were the Director of DHS/Coast Guard Business and successfully won multiple competitive contracts. Michael also has a background in the U.S. Coast Guard, where they served as a Government Major Acquisition Program Manager and was responsible for managing large-scale acquisition programs. Overall, Anderson has a wealth of experience in leadership, program management, and business development.

Michael Anderson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the US Coast Guard Academy, which they obtained from 1980 to 1984. Michael also has two Master of Science degrees: one in Electrical Engineering and another in Engineering Management, both from Northeastern University, which they completed from 1989 to 1991. In 1996 and 1997, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Management of Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Furthermore, in 2016, they completed an Executive Leadership Program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Michael Anderson also holds various certifications, including ITIL Foundations V.3 from the Information Technology Infrastructure Library and a Certified Level III Major Acquisition Program Manager from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Additionally, they are a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI), which they obtained in April 2011.
