Michael Koortens is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in infrastructure, power and utilities, and renewables. Currently serving as Director at Seraya Partners since April 2024, Michael previously held various director and associate director roles at OMERS Infrastructure from September 2018 to April 2024, as well as positions at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan and Macquarie Group. Michael began a career in finance with internships at ABN AMRO N.V. and ModuSpec. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Financial Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, a degree in Financial Economics from the same institution, and a Bachelor in International Economics & Business from the University of Groningen.
