Travis Scott Lee Shappell is a seasoned urban designer and architect with extensive experience in sustainable placemaking, currently holding the position of Senior Associate and Urban Designer at SERA Architects since July 2014. Shappell also serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Portland State University and has previously contributed to the Cosanti Foundation as a Strategic Planning Steering Committee Member and Architect/Planning Manager at Arcosanti. Earlier career roles include Graphic Designer at Hekasa Publishing and architectural intern at Arcosanti, complemented by academic experience as an Instructor and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Texas Tech University College of Architecture. Shappell holds a Master's degree in Architecture from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution.
