Rob DiMarco is an accomplished professional in product and engineering, currently working at Sequoia Capital since October 2020. Prior to this role, Rob held various positions at Google from October 2014 to October 2020, including Engineering Lead and Senior Engineering Manager for Firebase Build and Platform, where responsibilities encompassed several key Firebase products such as the Realtime Database and Cloud Firestore. Rob's career began at Firebase in September 2012, progressing from Engineering Manager to Engineering Lead before the company was acquired by Google. Additional experience includes a Senior Software Engineer position at TrialPay, which was acquired by Visa, and summer analyst and intern roles at BlackRock and Hewlett-Packard, respectively. Rob holds a B.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering focused on Embedded Systems and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
