Pascal Fares has a diverse work experience starting as a Mentor at OpenClassrooms in 2021. Pascal also worked as a CIO Consultant at Sequans Communications before becoming a CIO at the same company. Pascal has a long academic career, including roles like Enseignant agréé at Cnam and various positions at ISSAE Cnam Liban. In addition, they founded the Open Source Lebanese Movement and worked as a Mentor, Coach, and Consultant at Eurabia Hosting. Pascal's earlier experience includes roles at Capgemini, Bull, and the University of Balamand. Pascal also briefly served as a consultant at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Lebanon.

Pascal Fares holds a Maitrise degree in Computer Science from the Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, obtained from 1980 to 1984. Pascal also earned an Engineer degree in Computer Science from ENSEEIHT from 1984 to 1986. Pascal has additional certifications in software architecture and coding.
