Melissa Silverman is an experienced transportation professional with a background in civil engineering. Since November 2010, Melissa has held various positions at the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), currently serving as the Director of Schedules and Support Services, following roles as Chief Schedule Maker, Senior Schedule Maker, and Schedule Maker within the Service Planning department. Prior to SEPTA, Melissa worked as a Civil Engineer at KCI Technologies, Inc. from March 2004 to November 2010, specializing in traffic and transportation engineering. Additionally, Melissa gained valuable experience through co-op positions at the City of Philadelphia and National Glass & Metal Co., Inc. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Drexel University.
