Arnaud Masselin is an experienced professional in the field of enzymatic catalysis and organic chemistry, currently serving as the Head of the Enzymatic Catalysis Laboratory at SEPPIC since November 2018, where responsibilities include managing innovation projects and developing biocatalysis technologies. Prior to this role, Arnaud completed a PhD at CNRS focusing on carbohydrate synthesis and biocatalysis, with significant insights into the role of chitinoligosaccharides in plant defense and symbiosis. Additional experience includes developing biocatalysts in sulphur chemistry at Arkema, alongside internships in medicinal chemistry and research projects at both the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Rennes and the University of Portsmouth. Arnaud's educational background includes multiple advanced degrees in chemistry from Nantes Université and Université de Rennes I, as well as foundational studies in chemistry at Le Mans Université and lycée Jacques Cartier.
