Dan Valdez has an extensive work experience that spans over several decades. Dan began their career in 1985 as the President and CEO of Stationery & Furnishings, Inc., a niche market office products company. After successfully running the company for over a decade, they moved on to become the President and CEO of Sentry Group Advisors in 1996. In this role, they provided business advisory services and mentored entrepreneurs, while also serving as an Executive Professor for the University of Houston Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
In 2004, Valdez founded The Owners Alliance, an organization dedicated to the success and growth of business owners and entrepreneurs. Dan served as the Founder and CEO, facilitating club organizations and promoting the sharing of experiences amongst members. Valdez later founded The Attractor Factory in 2005, focusing on distilling the Law of Attraction into practical steps for individuals to achieve success.
In 2006, they started My Biz Doc, where they served as the Principal providing resources and information to help businesses thrive. Finally, in 2011, Valdez became the Executive VP and Co-Founder of GUI Global Products, Ltd. Dan Valdez attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1964 to 1969, where they obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Marketing. From 1997 to 2005, they were a faculty member in the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business.
