Mike Schimke is an experienced insurance professional with extensive expertise in underwriting and corporate strategy. Currently serving as AVP Chief Underwriting Officer at Sentry since June 2011, Mike has held various leadership roles in the company, focusing on corporate underwriting and product strategy. Prior experience includes Vice President of Workers Compensation and Commercial Automobile at QBE Regional Insurance, where Mike managed a $286 million portfolio, and AVP of Workers Compensation at General Casualty, overseeing a $200 million business. With additional roles at Wausau Insurance and Sentry Insurance, Mike has consistently contributed to growth and profitability across multiple lines of business. Mike holds a BA in Math from St. Norbert College.
