Catherine Armstrong has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Catherine currently holds the position of CFO at Sentinel since 2017. Prior to their current role, in 2011, Catherine was a Partner at CurzonTrinitas (IIC Partners), where they provided executive search and leadership assessment services for clients in the infrastructure and energy finance sectors globally.
From 2011 to 2015, they were the Founder & Partner at Trinitas Search Partners LLP, a specialist Executive Search firm focused on infrastructure, resources, and energy. Catherine also worked at Kinsey Allen International from 2005 to 2011, where they held the positions of Global Head of Structured Finance and Global Head of Project and Infrastructure Finance.
Before that, Catherine served as the UK Head of Infrastructure & Project Finance at IKB Deutsche Industriebank from 2001 to 2005, and as an Associate Director at Investec from 1999 to 2001. Catherine started their career at Deutsche Bank as a Manager from 1995 to 1999, and at Pricewaterhouse Coopers as an Executive in 1994, where they advised on infrastructure and power deals globally.
Catherine's work experience also includes a role as an Analyst at London Electricity plc from 1991 to 1994, where they focused on forecasting and analyzing electricity demand and revenues.
Catherine Armstrong pursued their education at The University of Manchester, where they attended from 1987 to 1991. During their time there, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Econometrics, and Statistics. Following this, they furthered their studies at Queen Mary University of London, where they completed their Master of Science degree in Economics, Econometrics, and Statistics from 1992 to 1994.
