Matthieu Currat has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. In 2006, they started their career as a Graduate Engineer at Technip UK, where they conducted research and managed projects related to vessel hang-off clamps and tensioners. Matthieu then worked as a Project Engineer at Technip Canada, where they oversaw the mechanical design of installation aids for the North Amethyst Project. In 2009, they became a Senior Project Engineer at Technip Norge and later transitioned to the role of Lead Project Engineer in both Technip Norge and Technip Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.
In 2015, Currat joined Omnisens SA as the Operations Manager, responsible for project delivery and the implementation of quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems. Matthieu was later promoted to COO/CEO, where they led the company through various achievements, including successful applications for financial support, reorganization of sales and marketing, and the introduction of new product lines.
In 2021, Currat joined Prysmian Group as the General Manager of Omnisens SA, overseeing integration efforts. Matthieu also held the positions of Integration Manager and Chief Operating Officer of EOSS within the company.
In 2023, Currat started working as the Chairman of Met-Flow SA and Vice President APAC at Senstar, demonstrating their leadership skills and experience in the industry.
Matthieu Currat completed their Master's degree in MSc Mechanic, electricity and production management from ECAM Lyon between 2001 and 2006. In 2020, they participated in an Executive Program on Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Matthieu also completed another Executive Program on Fundamentals of Finance and Accounting for Non-Financial Managers at the Management Centre Europe MCE in the same year.
