Christopher Ong has a diverse and extensive work experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Christopher is currently working as the Associate Director of Software Engineering at Sensitech since 2023. Prior to that, they were the Director of Engineering at Ovation.io from 2021 to 2023, overseeing technology solutions for a genomic data life science startup.

From 2017 to 2021, Christopher served as the Director of Software Engineering at OV Loop, Inc., where they managed mobile application strategy and development and implemented process improvements to increase technology functionality and performance.

Before that, Christopher worked as the Director of Software Engineering at RoamingAround from 2015 to 2017, leading the design and development of a location technology using C#, SQL Server, and Bluetooth beacons. Christopher also managed client engagements and pioneered the growth of the engineering team.

Christopher also has experience as the Development Manager, Mobile and SDK at Ingenico Mobile Solutions from 2014 to 2015. Christopher managed the mobile team development operations and mentored and developed engineering team talent.

Christopher was also a co-founder of Turnwasters from 2012 to 2014 and held technical roles at ROAMâ„¢ and EMC earlier in their career.

Throughout their various roles, Christopher has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, team management, and technical expertise.

Christopher Ong completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2005. Prior to that, they attended Boston College High School.
