Susanne Vüllers started their work experience as a PhD student at ETH Zürich in June 2007 and worked there until October 2011. Susanne then joined Sensirion in October 2012 as a Process Engineer and worked in that role until December 2018. From January 2019 to June 2022, they held the position of Senior Process Engineer at Sensirion. Currently, they are working as a Senior R&D Engineer at Sensirion, starting in June 2022.

Susanne Vüllers pursued their education by first attending the Technical University of Munich from 2001 to 2007. During this period, they obtained a Diplom degree in Maschinenbau. Following this, they enrolled at ETH Zürich from 2007 to 2011, where they focused on Materialswissenschaft and ultimately received their degree in 2011.
