Tim Liu has a diverse background in digital marketing and data analytics. Tim has worked as the Head of Insights and Co-founder/Director at 1PD since 2023 and as the Head of Digital Marketing at Sensei APAC since 2022. Prior to that, Tim founded and managed The Empathetic Marketer, a professional blog where they shared their digital marketing expertise and provided consulting services to businesses. Tim also served as the Head of Digital at Tekni Creative, where they built the digital marketing department from scratch and helped clients achieve significant revenue growth. Tim's previous experience includes roles as a Performance Media Manager at Next Level Online Media, a Senior Strategist at GMG Digital, a Data Executive at Intentional, and an Account Manager and Onboarding Specialist at AdRoll. Tim started their career as a Student Engagement intern at CPM Australia and as a Sales and Marketing intern at ThinkSpeak.
Tim Liu completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Actuarial Science & Data Analytics at Monash University from 2012 to 2015. Tim has also obtained certifications in various data-related courses, including "Cleaning Data in R," "Data Manipulation in R with dplyr," "DoubleClick and DoubleClick Bid Manager," "Importing Data Into R," and "Introduction to R" from DataCamp and Google.
