Heiner Dreismann is a global executive with more than 35 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He was previously the President and CEO of Roche Molecular Systems, the world leader in molecular diagnostics, and is widely regarded as a pioneer in the adoption of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in the field.
In his successful career at the Roche Group between 1985 to 2006, Heiner held a number of senior positions culminating in his appointment as President and CEO of Roche Molecular Systems. In this role he oversaw the substantial growth of the PCR business with revenues doubling within a five year period.
Heiner led the successful integration of Boehringer Mannheim into Roche Diagnostics and went on to become Head of Global Business Development with responsibility for Roche’s entire IVD business. He was previously a member of Roche’s Global Diagnostic Executive Committee.
Heiner holds a Masters degree in biology and a Ph.D. in microbiology/molecular biology (summa cum laude) from Westfaelische Wilhelms University (Muenster) in Germany.
In addition to his role at Sense, Heiner currently serves on the boards of several public and private healthcare companies.
