Nickey Espach has a strong background in project planning and management. Most recently, they worked as a Lead Project Planner at SENET, where they provided consultation on planning, costing, and risk for various projects. They also served as an Integration Manager, collaborating with engineering teams and clients to improve efficiency and productivity. Prior to this, they held the same role at Amrec, where they played a key role in the Exxaro GG6 Expansion project. Additionally, Nickey has experience as a Project Planner at Genrec Engineering, focusing on steel fabrication planning. They also worked at Kentz in various roles, including Junior Planner, Construction Support & CCMS, and IT Officer/Manager. Before that, they held a position as a Drivecam Specialist at Drive-Report and worked as a Fire Stop Barrier Installer at Sajen 2000 Fire Protection Ltd.

Nickey Espach completed a Primavera P6 Professional Advanced Rel 17 Ed 1 course at Oracle University in 2018. In 2011, they completed a Project Management course with PRIMAVERA at Enterprise Project Solutions. In 2009, they obtained a Higher National Diploma in Projects and Business from CTI Bedfordview. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2008, they completed a Diploma in Comprehensive Programming, also at CTI Bedfordview. Nickey completed their high school education at Brakpan Technical High, obtaining a Grade 12 (Matric) qualification between 1999 and 2003. They completed their primary education at Brakpan-East Primary between 1991 and 1998.
