Victor Ureta has extensive experience in risk and structuring roles within the energy industry. Victor is currently the Director of Risk & Structuring at Sempra Infrastructure. Before that, they worked as the Director of Operations and Risk in Mexico for Acclaim Energy. Victor also has experience as an Independent Consultant, where they provided consulting services. Prior to that, they held the position of Risk Manager in Mexico for InterGen and Retail Analysis and Risk Manager for EDF Energy Services. Victor began their career as a Market Risk Manager for EDF Trading, where they developed risk controls and models for various markets. Victor started their professional journey as a Market Risk Reporter for Rabobank International.

Victor Ureta attended Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Victor also participated in the European Business Programme during the same period, earning another Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
