Mathias Pastor has four years of work experience. In 2021, they co-founded Semper, where they use liquidity to align the interests of private companies, team members and investors. From 2018-2021, they worked as Director of Fellowship at The Family, where they ran the Fellowship program and provided daily support to portfolio founders. In 2017, they worked as an Analyst at The D. E. Shaw Group, where they explored arbitrage trading strategies around credit instruments and derivatives. In 2015, they co-founded Teech App, where they worked on product and growth, raised a seed round, onboarded over 500 Teechers, and built an ambassador network.

Mathias Pastor completed a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) at the University of Oxford. Prior to this, they attended Ecole Active Bilingue Jeanine Manuel and obtained a Scientific Baccalaureate with Further Mathematics - International Option. Additionally, they obtained four certifications: TOEFL (120/120) from Educational Testing Service (ETS) in March 2015; Diploma de español como lengua extranjera (DELE) from Instituto Cervantes in August 2013; Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi 2 (HSK 2) from Chinese National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language in August 2012; and English Literature IGCSE (A*) from University Of Cambridge International Examinations.
