Karen has an MA in Translation Studies from Leipzig University in Germany. Previously, Karen worked at a translation agency for 18 years as a project manager, translator, proofreader and layout specialist. Karen is from Wuppertal in Northrhine-Westfalia, Germany and has also lived in Edinburgh, UK and Coimbra, Portugal. Her mother tongue is German and her working languages are English and Portuguese.
