Brandon Hines is currently the Lead Software Engineer at Self. Brandon has previously worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Broadleaf Commerce and an Application Developer at CGI. At Broadleaf Commerce, they were responsible for designing and developing enhancements and solutions for a first class e-commerce framework. Brandon also built an order management and fulfillment system and implemented it in multiple client environments. In addition, they worked heavily on decomposing a monolithic application into micro modules and micro services. At CGI, they identified issues, analyzed problems, developed fixes and added new functionality for a large web based ERP system that is used by multiple federal agencies, including defense and intelligence, to manage the financials, budgets, and acquisition. Brandon Hines has a wealth of experience in various programming languages and software development tools.

Brandon Hines earned their bachelor's degree in computer science from The University of Virginia's College at Wise.

Brandon Hines reports to Gaby Lopez, Engineering Manager. They are on a team with James Kim - Associate Security Engineer, Kshitija Karkar - Software Engineer, Operations, and Carl Bai - Software Engineer.
