Jose Caballero is an experienced professional currently serving as the Economic Development Project Manager at the Solano Economic Development Corporation since August 2023, managing a Revolving Loan Fund for small businesses and overseeing grant-funded projects. Concurrently, from February 2020, Jose has been an Equity Officer and Analyst at Solano County, coordinating responses to local emergencies and developing communication strategies. Previously, Jose held various positions, including Program Manager for the Building Blocks for Health Equity initiative in Alameda County, where efforts focused on financial tools to mitigate health and wealth inequities. With extensive experience in hospitality management and education in Health Care Administration, as well as dual Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration, Jose brings a diverse skill set to economic and community development initiatives.
