Edward Carr is an accomplished operations leader with extensive experience in the plant hire and crane sectors. Currently serving as Operations Leader and Work Winning Leader at Select Plant Hire since December 2016, Edward previously held the position of Operations Director - Cranes at Hewden, where oversight of the UK’s second largest mobile crane fleet was managed, generating £22 million in revenue with a workforce of 200 staff. Edward's prior roles at Select Plant Hire included Product Leader for Tower Cranes, during which revenue reached £55 million, and various managerial roles at Kier Group, where responsibilities spanned operational support and plant management both domestically and internationally. Edward holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northumbria University and is a graduate of Ipswich School.
