Earlier in their career, Amber was a Supervisor at a Municipal Pool from June 2009 to April 2012.

Amber Horton completed their education at Argosy University from 2016 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. Prior to that, they attended East High School from 2001 to 2004, where they received their high school diploma. In addition to their formal education, Amber obtained the SafeLand certification from DXP Safety Alliance in July 2013.
