Paulo Macedo has an extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Paulo started their career as a CAD consultant (part-time) at EHK Adjorlolo & Associates, Inc in 1994. In the same year, they also worked as a Mechanical Engineer and Network Administrator at EMCOR Group, Inc. From 1996 to 2000, Paulo worked as a Design Engineer at Chart Industries, Inc. In 2000, they joined Johnson Controls as a Systems Applications Engineer IV. Paulo then moved on to Seifert Systems, Inc. and held multiple positions including Project Engineer, Engineering Manager, Vice President, and eventually became the President of the company in 2012. Paulo'srole at Seifert Systems spanned from 2001 to the present.

Paulo Macedo earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth between 1989 and 1993. In 2015, they obtained a Duolingo French Fluency: Intermediate (Estimated) certification from Duolingo.
