Hari Markapuram began their work experience in 2001 as a Graduate Trainee Engineer at Kennametal India Ltd. Hari worked in various departments and gained valuable skills in research and development, production, and quality engineering. In 2006, they joined Ricardo as a CFD Engineer before being promoted to Senior CFD Engineer in 2012. At Ricardo, they were involved in strategic and environmental consultancy, as well as the manufacturing of high-performance products. In 2020, Hari joined SEGULA Technologies as a Senior Project Engineer, and later became a Lead Engineer. In this role, they focused on classical combustion engine powertrain development as well as the latest FCEV and BEV powertrains. Hari was responsible for performing 3D-CFD and 1D-CFD simulations, developing methodologies and workflows, managing simulation projects, coordinating a team of engineers and students, and supporting the sales team.

Hari Markapuram obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 1997 to 2001. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Conception of Machines at RWTH Aachen University from 2003 to 2007.
