Amanda Folk has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Amanda began their career as a Paralegal at Bozeman Grayson Smith & Price n/k/a McNair Law Firm in 1987. Amanda then worked as a Paralegal at Compass Group USA from 1993 to 1998, where they focused on contract analysis, merger & acquisition support, real property transactions, and corporate governance.
In 1998, Amanda joined SCANA Services, Inc. - SCE&G as a Senior Telecommunications Analyst, where they held the position until 2015. During their time at SCANA Services, they specialized in telecommunications analysis and support.
Since 2015, Amanda has been working at Segra. Amanda initially served as a Senior Analyst - Contracts, responsible for contract management, writing, analysis, and negotiation, with a focus on agreements related to the telecommunications industry. In 2017, they were promoted to the role of Manager, Contracts, and in 2020, they transitioned into the position of Director, Strategic Contracts.
In their current role at Segra, Amanda manages strategic contracts and oversees the team responsible for contract management. Amanda plays a vital role in various aspects of the company's operations, including facilities-related agreements, real property matters, fiber optic licensing, and agreements related to the telecommunications industry.
Amanda Folk holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Clemson University. Amanda also obtained a Paralegal Certificate with a focus on Real Estate from The National Center for Paralegal Training. Amanda has additional certifications including South Carolina Certified Paralegal from the South Carolina Bar, Advanced Paralegal Certifications in Contracts Administration/Contracts Management and Real Estate Law from the National Association of Legal Assistants, and Certified Paralegal from the National Association of Legal Assistants. Furthermore, they are an honorary member of NALA - The Paralegal Association.
