Tunç Bahçecioğlu has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Tunç started their career as a Programmer and later became a Software Architect at METU, where they designed and coded an extensible parallel finite element analysis framework called Panthalassa. At oneZeroPlus, Tunç worked as a Software Consultant for a TÜBİTAK project and later became the CEO of the company. Tunç also served as a Lead Programmer at oneZeroPlus, where they developed a music player application for desktop and its mobile control counterpart. Tunç then joined LARSA, Inc as a Software Developer before moving on to Plaxis BV, where they worked as a Software Development Engineer and later as a Product Owner. Currently, Tunç is working at Seequent as a Principal Software Engineer.
Tunç Bahçecioğlu holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Structural Engineering from Middle East Technical University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Civil Engineering from the same institution, from 2008 to 2011. Their educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Civil Engineering, which they earned from Middle East Technical University from 2001 to 2007. In addition, Tunç Bahçecioğlu has acquired several certifications including Decentralized Applications (Dapps), Smart Contracts, and Blockchain Basics from the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York in 2021. Tunç also holds certifications in Advanced Python and Introducing Functional Programming in C++ from LinkedIn in 2020, as well as Machine Learning and Algorithmic Toolbox from Coursera in 2018 and 2017 respectively.
