Surinder Saini

Surinder Saini has a vast and diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting from 2002, Surinder worked as the Chief Architect for IBM on a multi-million-dollar implementation project for Vodafone Australia and New Zealand, focusing on Integrated Business Support Systems and Operational Support Systems. Surinder continued to work with IBM as a Principal Consultant and Chief Architect for Telecom Wholesale, leading strategy and change initiatives.

In 2009, Surinder joined Fronde as a Cloud Strategist and Executive Consultant, responsible for developing the company's cloud business strategy and managing their Google business division. Surinder also served as the General Manager of Fronde's Technology Solutions Group.

Following this, Surinder held management consultancy roles at Chorus NZ Limited and Barbador Limited, where a key focus was on cloud services. At the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), Surinder worked as a Programme Director, overseeing a major Transformational Programme. Similarly, at the New Zealand Customs Service, Surinder served as a Programme Manager for Risk and Intelligence.

In 2016, Surinder joined Vodafone New Zealand as an IT & Digital Engineering Design & Delivery Manager, leading teams in IT and digital engineering design and delivery. Additionally, Surinder was self-employed as a Management Consultant in 2016.

Currently, Surinder is working at Seequent as the Vice President of Seequent Evo. This role involves leading a global team in the development of geoscience analysis, modeling, and collaborative technologies. Surinder is responsible for driving innovation and creating technology solutions to address earth, environment, and energy challenges.

Surinder Saini attended the University of Leicester from 1983 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science.
