Darren Rodney is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the music industry. As Vice President of Finance at Seeker Music since July 2023, Darren oversees financial strategies and operations. Prior to this role, Darren served as Senior Director of Accounting at Kobalt Music from May 2019 to October 2024, playing a pivotal role in the sale of Kobalt’s AWAL Recordings and Neighboring Rights business unit to Sony Music Entertainment. Darren's previous positions include Finance Senior Director at RCA Records, where a marketing budget of approximately $40 million was managed, as well as various roles at Sony Music Entertainment, including Director of Finance for RCA Records and Manager of Digital Operations for Legacy Recordings. Darren holds an M.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a B.A. in Music Business from Berklee College of Music.
