Jonathan Dixon has extensive experience in the horticultural sector, specifically focused on avocados and kiwifruit. Currently serving as Avocado Technical Officer at Seeka Limited since June 2019, Jonathan provides technical support for avocado production. Concurrently, as Chief Technical Officer at Seeka Kiwifruit Industries Limited since February 2016, Jonathan offers research and grower technical support for kiwifruit, kiwiberry, avocados, and other crops, alongside post-harvest assistance. Prior experiences include managing Seeka's avocado business and serving as Research Program Director for the California Avocado Commission. Jonathan's academic background includes a Bachelor of Horticultural Science, a Master of Horticultural Science, and a PhD in Applied Horticulture from Massey University.
