Elizabeth Bowman

Director, Operations at SEE-LA

Elizabeth Bowman has a diverse work experience in the field of operations and agriculture. Elizabeth started in 2010 as a Board Member for the Los Angeles Community Garden Council. In 2011, they worked as an Intern for the Urban Agriculture Working Group of the Los Angeles Food Policy Council, focusing on developing urban agriculture policies. From 2007 to 2012, they served as an Associate at Gladstein, Neandross & Associates. In 2012, they co-founded the Altadena Farmers' Market and oversaw all aspects of market operations. Elizabeth also co-founded Pop Produce in 2014. Since 2014, they have been involved with SEE-LA, working as the Manager of Hollywood Farmers' Market and later as the Director of Farmers' Market Operations. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Operations at SEE-LA.

Elizabeth Bowman completed their education with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Performing Arts from New York University in 2002. Prior to that, they attended Santa Barbara High School from 1996 to 1999. Elizabeth later pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Urban Sustainability from Antioch University-Los Angeles, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. In 2009, they obtained a Permaculture Design Certificate from EarthFlow Design Works.
