Brad Borchert has worked at five different companies since 2006. Brad began their career as an Engineering Intern at Boeing in 2006. Brad then worked as a Research Assistant at Brigham Young University in 2007. That same year they were also a UTSR Gas Turbine Fellow at Clean Energy Systems, Inc. In 2008, they became a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer at GE Power & Water. Finally, in 2014, they were appointed Director of Site Development at Sedron Technologies.
Brad Borchert obtained their Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2012. Brad previously earned their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University in 2007. In 2013, they obtained a Technologist Level GDTP (Y14.5M) certification from the ASME.
