Sarah Ellis has over two decades of experience in the claims management field, currently serving as the Director of Claims at Sedgwick since 2006. In this role, Sarah manages the Memphis Claims office, overseeing up to 50 colleagues and handling Workers' Compensation claims across over 20 jurisdictions, as well as Property and Casualty claims for various regions, including international cases. Prior roles include Manager of Claims and Claim Team Lead, where responsibilities encompassed team management, large loss claims, class action suits, and serving as a Medicare Compliance expert. Previous positions include Outside Claims Adjuster at Travelers, Legal Investigator at Williams Law Firm, and Claims Examiner at Travelers, with foundational experience in safety, risk management, and claims adjusting at M.S. Carriers and Nationwide Insurance. Sarah holds a Master of Arts in Psychology from The University of Memphis and additional professional designations from AICPCU, including AINS and ARM.
