Shobuj Paul currently serves as a Research and Development Engineer at SEDEMAC, specializing in the development of control software for the ISG+ product line, which enhances internal combustion engine vehicles by eliminating the starter motor through innovative sensor-less commutation algorithms. Prior experience includes a research internship at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) focused on distributed control and multi-agent drone systems, as well as internships at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee and IIT Bombay, where projects involved the design and simulation of autonomous mobile robots and numerical integrators for nonlinear dynamics of robotic systems, respectively. Shobuj attained a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Physics from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, having completed studies there from 2019 to 2023.
