Joe Bernik is an experienced professional in the field of cyber security, currently serving as Cyber Security Executive in Strategy and Operations at BNY since May 2024, where the focus is on protecting global financial infrastructure. Prior to this role, Joe was a Cyber Security Executive at Bank of America for Institutional banking, and held significant positions at Cyware Labs and Intel Corporation as CTO of Intel Security. Additional experience includes advisory roles at Cylance Inc. and Promontory Financial Group, along with leadership roles in technology risk management at BNY Mellon, Fifth Third Bank, and ABN AMRO. Joe holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Computer Science from the University of Mary Washington and has completed master's studies in Business Administration at Baruch College and NYU School of Professional Studies.
