Barry Ward is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the insurance and financial sectors. Currently serving as Senior Advisor, Finance at Security Benefit Corporation since July 2013, Barry has also held significant leadership roles such as SVP, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and Treasurer at Security Benefit Corporation. Prior to this, Barry was the Executive Vice President and CFO at Fidelity & Guaranty Life from August 2006 to July 2013. Additional experience includes positions as Vice President of US Financial Reporting at ING USFS, Assistant Commissioner of Financial Regulation at the Ohio Department of Insurance, Corporate Controller at Integrity Insurance Companies, and a role in the Insurance Audit Practice at Ernst & Young. Barry holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Eastern Kentucky University.
