Marshall Lagani is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science and risk management. Currently serving as Consulting Director - Data Science at Securian Financial since June 2018, Marshall has spearheaded the creation of an intelligent document processing ecosystem in Amazon Web Services, aiming for significant labor hour savings for Investments teams. Additionally, Marshall established a Center of Excellence for Modeling & Innovation in Investments to guide the development of Bloomberg Quant (BQNT). Prior to this role, Marshall was a Senior Manager - Risk Management at Transamerica from June 2009 to June 2018, where responsibilities included directing teams in the development and validation of forecasting techniques for actuarial and financial risk models, along with conducting statistical analyses to enhance customer behavior models. Marshall holds a Master of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Louisville.
