Tom B. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tom began their career in 2004 as an Operations Manager at Bluewings Security Ltd, before starting their own company, TAP SECURITY SOLUTIONS LTD, in 2010. From 2006 to 2015, Tom worked as an Enforcement Officer for the UK Ministry of Justice, where they were involved in apprehending wanted individuals and providing training for new officers. In 2018, they held several roles simultaneously, including Group Director at Four Circles Group, Partner at Booth Cooper Mason & Associates, and Director & Quality Control Lead at BESEGRA TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT. Tom joined The Tess Group in 2019 as an Assessor, and their most recent work experience includes serving as Security Director & Crowd Manager at SecurePro and Chief Operating Officer at EeZee Estate Agents. Tom also co-founded Five Alive Networking, where they organized regional property meets and facilitated a supportive group environment for like-minded individuals. Currently, Tom B. is the Chief Executive Officer for the Black Country Franchise of EeZee Estate Agents.

Tom B. completed a degree in Security and Risk Management, specifically in the field of Criminology, from the University of Leicester between 2007 and 2011. Tom also obtained an apprenticeship in Level 5 Operations or Departmental Manager from the Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education, which they completed in 2020. In 2016 to 2018, Tom B. earned a Level 5 Diploma in Crowd Management & Risk Analysis from The Square Metre Ltd. Tom also acquired a Certificate in Assessing Vocational Related Achievement (L3 CAVA) from SL Training and Development in 2019. Additionally, Tom B. completed the IOSH Managing Safely certification from Libben Health & Safety before 2016. Tom holds a Level 3 Instructors Award in Conflict Management, Physical Intervention, Advanced PI & Handcuffs from McCormack Training Ltd, obtained between 2013 and 2023. Tom B. received the L4 PTLLS certification in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector from APCT Ltd before 2013. Finally, Tom B. completed their GCSE at Ridgewood High School before 1999.

In terms of additional certifications, Tom B. obtained Affiliate Membership from The Security Institute in 2022 and Fellowship of CMI from the Chartered Management Institute in 2021. Tom also became a Freemason with the United Grand Lodge of England in 2008. Lastly, they obtained IPSA (Member) certification from the International Professional Security Association (IPSA) in November 2022.
