Mónica Della Pirriera has over a decade of experience in the field of photonics and energy conversion. Currently serving as the Photonic & Vision Area Manager at Leitat Technological Center since October 2010, Mónica has led the development of the Applied Photonics R&D line since 2017. In addition, Mónica previously held the position of Energy Conversion & Photonics Area Manager, overseeing key research areas including Solar Energy and Smart Photoelectrochemical Systems. Mónica is also a member of the board of directors at SECPHO and was part of the management council for the Plataforma Tecnológica SOLAR CONCENTRA from March 2018 to March 2021. Prior to this, Mónica conducted research in the Micro and Nanoelectronic Group at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Mónica holds a PhD in Electronic Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a degree in Physics from the University of Buenos Aires.
