Omar Yahya is an experienced professional in the financial regulatory sector with a career spanning over a decade at the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) since February 2008, currently serving as Additional Joint Director. Responsibilities include examining and processing listings on the stock exchange, overseeing bilateral agreements with international regulatory authorities, implementing the Code of Corporate Governance, and engaging external stakeholders to promote market development. Prior experience includes a role as Deputy Director at SECP and as an Associate at JS Group, where responsibilities encompassed trading, portfolio management, market research, and business development.
