Barbie Hentges is a seasoned professional in fundraising and development with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Development at Second Harvest Heartland since March 2021, Barbie Hentges previously held multiple leadership roles at Children's Minnesota from 1998 to 2020, including Director of Development for the Children's Foundation. In these positions, Barbie Hentges excelled in managing corporate partnerships, individual donor relationships, and benefit events, overseeing strategic planning and execution of large-scale fundraising initiatives. Barbie Hentges holds a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Southwest Minnesota State University.
