Kristin Kvernland is an experienced professional in food systems, supply chain management, and community development. Currently serving as Supply Chain Coordinator and Farm Mentor at Foodshed and Solidarity Farm since June 2020, Kristin also holds the position of Program Manager at Second Chance, a nonprofit organization in San Diego. At Second Chance, Kristin oversees an annual operating budget of $280,000 for a youth garden program, significantly increasing earnings from $1,000 to $30,000 from 2013 to 2018, while delivering services to approximately 500 youth.
